November in Review -- Q+A + thanksgiving + air soft wars + campfires || Hello December

HAPPENINGS

I drove for the first time at night!!! It was actually a lot easier than I was expecting.

I'm almost finished school!!! OH YEAH!!!! (and I've already written my graduation speech which I won't be saying until next year????)

I went hiking with my siblings and friends. We got lost and ended up walking over ten miles. But it was still a lot of fun!!

I went Christmas shopping with Mama and Kris and we went to Chik-fil-a for lunch!!!

We had an air soft war with some friends.

Thanksgiving happened (HAPPY THANKSGIVING Y'ALL if I didn't say that already)

↑ On the way to my Grandmothers house for Thanksgiving ↑

Our house is all decorated for Christmas!! Ahhhh....

I have come to realize that I have the BEST FRIENDS EVER *nod nod*

We went to our friends house, ate amazing food, played kick ball, and just sat around the campfire and talked! IT WAS AN AWESOME NIGHT!!!!

I'm doing a Q+A so don't forget to ask some questions in the comments!!

RANDOM MOMENTS

"I have a new doll. She has clothes on." - my niece

Ben, Kris, and I all singing a random song together and without realizing it we were singing three part harmony and it sounded pretty good.
us after we finished the song:

kris: "Something feels weird. I think I'm sitting backwards."

Kris and me debating on how old you have to be to be considered a spinster??? (UPDATE: we still don't know the answer)

A little boy from our church was telling us a story.
me: "How did you come up with that story?"
lil boy: "From my genius head."

me talking to ben: "What time is it?"
ben*glances down at his kindle* "It's ninety two percent. I mean eight fifty."

lil kid: "Look at the moon. Do you have a moon at your house?"

We were over at a friends house and I couldn't find my gloves, so one of their little kids (she's three) saw some gloves, picked them up, smelled them, and then said, "Yep, they're yours."
I'm not quite sure what to think of it....

  1. ikr?? I've already driven a couple times in the dark and it's actually not that bad. I'd say the scary part is driving in new areas in the dark around turns because you don't really know what the curve is like :P

AND DUDE. 10 MILES?? how are you still alive tho lol XD

AND AAHHHH. DECEMBER. WHAT EVEN. did you know its like 29 days until Christmas?? *cough*

  4. Sounds like a nice month! And great job on getting 5k on your book!
I have some questions for your Q&A:

    1) What is one book that you wish could be made into a movie?
    2) What movie has made you so sad and happy at the same time? (If there is one)
    3) What is your dream vacation?
    4) If you could live in any time period, when would it be? (If you don't like modern time.)

    1. It was great! THANK YOU, LILLY!! I was pretty excited. It's the most I've written in a month, even though 5K still isn't that much.

Thank you so much for the questions!!

Wow, the month flew by, didn't it! :D I'm glad you had a good month and I hope December will be just as good - or even better! ;)

The random moment with the sloth gif is hilarious, but so true!! A lot of times I do that with some of my siblings and the ending sounds awful! :D Or, we purposely make ourselves sing awful! :D

Good job on your word count, even though it wasn't the amount you wanted! :) I'm definitely not going to be reaching 50,000 this month - I have almost 30,000 right now. :p

Nice post!! Are you doing the Q&A in a video or just on a post?

Thanks! Wow, you did good, Rosalyn! Great job!

Thank you! I'm not quite sure yet. I think I'm going to try the video, but if it doesn't turn out, I'm going to do the post ;)

  7. Random Moments is obviously my favorite part of this post... hahaha! And Spinster age might be 45???? I don't know... it's definitely not 35, because I know some single ladies who are in their 30 and obviously not spinsters ;). I think it depends on the personality? Like, some ladies are never spinsters and some seem so very early on, ha.
"It has clothes on". Ahhhh , the news worthiness of that fact. Always. Whyyyyyy??!?! Hahaha!
Also, I'm glad driving at night isn't an issue for you... for me, I wear glasses, and the least bit of wetness can cause all lights to glare off my glasses and blind me, so long story short, I got anti-glare coating so I wasn't a danger on the road, and I've still not driven at night since then, because, I'm scared. (Also, haven't been anywhere... but that's beside the point ;)...)

    1. Haha thanks, Bri!! I think they are my favorite part of the post too!!!
I was kind of thinking of that age too actually ;)
When Bella told me that I just melted. My nieces are SO ADORABLE!! Oh, and Chloe got saved on Wednesday night! We're all so happy for her!!! Just thought you might want to know.
I can see where that would be a problem with the glasses.
Thank you SO MUCH for commenting, Bri! <3
