 LIFE IN AUGUST

- drove A LOT! With the windows down, my hair blowing, listening and singing to music! Ahhhhhh.... I love Summer!!

- some friends that we hadn't seen in about seven years came and stayed a few days with us. It was so good seeing them and we had a really good time together.

- went to the berry farm with my grandparents

- went to an amusement park with Ben and the boy I take care of.

- opened up a bank account and got a card

- had a laser tag war with some friends and then ate Chinese afterwards

- celebrated my Daddy's birthday

- A few days ago I went out and picked some grapes that were growing at our house. I picked a good bowlful and there were still some left on the vine. So yesterday, Mama and I made some grape jelly which turned out great. It tastes absolutely delicious!!  I'm planning on going out and picking the rest in a few days.

- went to a bookstore and got about ten books for $3.00!

- I also went to a new library. It's the biggest library I've ever been in! And I got a library card!!

So not a whole lot happened this month. Hopefully I didn't bore you to death with my month in review.
Anyway, I cannot believe that summer is coming to an end. Fall is next month, guys! And even though I LOVE summer, I cannot wait for Fall to arrive :)

this is hard because i have so many! i like joyfully living for jesus, the barefoot gal, ramblings of a bookworm, and the introverted extrovert. But there are tons more that I like too :)

i have three siblings.

5. FAVORITE ONLINE STORE?

amazon!

6. WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR GOALS FOR 2018?

get my drivers license (which I got last month)

i'm a proud homeschooled graduate :)

A TRIP TO THE BERRY FARM

i went to a berry farm with my brother and my grandparents the other day. i had such a good time and it was such a lovely day to be outside enjoying the nice weather :)

JULY IN REVIEW

Man. July went by so fast. Its so hard to believe that we're in August already. Summer is almost over. But it was a good month.

:::

- Kris bought herself a cat!! His name is Oliver!

- walked to a mcdonalds about ten minutes from our church after services on Sunday in the almost 100 degree heat with my friends and siblings to get ice cream. It was fun though!

- celebrated the 4th!

- Daddy talking about a coat of paint. "It's new. It's fresh."
ben: "It's baked eggs."
me: ???

- I GOT MY FIRST VERY OWN PHONE!!!!!

- made pickles

kris: *making fried onions* *an onion drops out of the pan and falls onto the stove* "You get yoself back here, little buddy."

- ate LOTS of ice cream on national ice cream day!

- went out with Mama and went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch

kris talking about food: "Isn't is funny how we get excited about stuffing things in our mouths?"

- keeping busy with my job

 

- a little boy at church saying over and over again, "I wanna play. I wanna play. I wanna play", in a silly like way. So before I left I went up to him, and playfully said, "I wanna play."
him: "That's sweet music to my ears."

- some of my best friends came and stayed the week of my birthday with us!!!!! IT WAS SO MUCH FUNNNNN!!!!

- I had my birthday and I turned 18!

me: *says something to Kris*
her: *looks at me quizzically*
me: "I was trying to get your goat."
Kris: "You may have taken my chicken but you most certainly didn't get my goat."

- got my drivers license!!

- little boy i watch: *takes off running* 
 me: "What's wrong?"
 him: "I'm being chased by a bee. He things I'm a walking flower!"
