Summer is my favorite season ever. I love

When I think of Summer, this is what comes to mind. I guess I like these things because I'm a country girl. We live in the country and I've grown up with Summer's like this. I love the cookouts, the water fights, the sunflowers, the fishing, the lightning bugs, the sunshine, the tans and barefeet. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy going to the beach, but my family usually doesn't do this in the Summer time! :D
I'm so excited for Summer!!! Its my favorite season of all!
Oh yes! Wonderful Summer! Other than Summer, Autumn is my favourite season! I know what you mean about doing fun things on warm days!
ReplyDeleteMy Spring/Summer started good because I found this blog and "met" a very special girl! :)
Yesterday (Sunday, 12th) however, Olivia (my sister) accidentally smashed my finger in the mini bus (van) door. Although my finger is badly bruised, it's not broken! I've tried playing the piano and typing (which I'm kind of typing right now, barely) with my “splint” on, but it's a bit difficult! :p Please be praying it will heal quickly. :) And no more writing my story for a few days—more than a week because of visitors (but you'll know why later on in this comment ;))
And speaking of Olivia ... I sent her you and your sister's Pinterest and obviously you saw she followed you. I was happy when I heard you followed back! I stated to Olivia that maybe you knew she was my sister. ;) Have I sent you a picture of myself? If not, the girl in the glasses (in Olivia's Pinterest photo) is me! :p
How did I get onto so many subjects all of the sudden?! :D
Moving on about my summer … :D Our home church pastor and his daughter are coming to visit very soon (Thursday) so we are busy getting ready for that. Sunday (18th) (if I haven't told you already), we are having a baptismal service (our very first one since we've been here)! We're really excited!
July sometime, we will have a church barbecue.
August, we will have our Holiday Bible Time (like VBS).
Anyway, a lovely Summer ahead of us and I'm sure for you too! And yes, no school is apsolutely amazing, although I'm not finished yet … :D

ReplyDeleteOh yes!! Autumn is beautiful with the different colored leaves and the crisp feeling when you walk outside. The smell of the pumpkin pies, and ginger cookies!!! But I also LOVE winter! Especially during Christmas time!! Christmas is just SOOO special!!!

I figured that Olivia was one of your sisters. I saw you in the picture and you had told me you had a sister named Olivia, so I put two and two together! :D

Thanks ... my finger is doing a little better. Everyday (at last once) I have to try bending it, but not too much or I'll hurt it! If I do too much work with that hand, it hurts in the evenings. :(

Thank you! We can't wait until they come! Tomorrow morning!! ;) They leave in the afternoon (Ohio time) and get here in the morning. Although time difference will make them feel miserable, it will be good to see them :)
